Welcome to The Tangle // 001: The next thread of the Tight Knit weave The Tangle is our newest event series built to bring artists from other cities and countries to RVA. Fresh new selectors, homegrown talent, 2 rooms. Hailing from DC, the first Tangle will feature Echostage // Club Glow residents MAKZ and Riza. • Riza fuses deep basslines and hypnotic melodies into a forward-thinking house sound, guaranteed to move any dancefloor. • Makz brings her highly creative craft to the decks, weaving deep grooves, funk, and dark vibes into a cohesive set built to keep you grooving. • They will be joined by RVA powerhouse and Tight Knit resident DJ David Goza. Together, these 3 artists will take the Backroom on a journey through breaks, house, and techno. In the Café & Lounge we will be hosting two of RVA's best, Tommy 2600 & Haley Phillips who are both making their Tight Knit & Pandora Cafe debut! • Tommy 2600 will be working it on vinyl and putting on a clinic by blending deep house, Chicago cuts, and other club weapons. • Haley Phillips will showcase her hypnotic skew toward deep tech and minimal house meant to take the listener on a journey.
